omg, I watched the first 5 episodes and this show is freaking awesome! Why the f*ck was this cancelled? Why isn't this an ongoing series? It's superbly stylistic, well written and great acting (the lead guy reminds me loads of keanu reaves, except this guys a 'real boy' ie. can act).

Barring a major catastrophe later in the series, WTF? Seriously, I don't understand the logic behind canning it after one series.

Seriously, I was impressed right from the get go, and barring the lovey dovey wife crap, everything is deep and 3dimensional, which is often left out of major tv series.

I can remember when it aired, and I have to say, it wasn't pushed anywhere near as much as it deserves, and it deserves a lot. It was advertised as the wrong kind of show. All it needed was the title music (which is freakin cool) and splice in some action sequences from the show and loads of people would have tuned in barring a miracle.

As said, I've only watched 5 episodes but they were all very well made. The only plausable excuse I can think of cancellation is the budget was far too much (and it shows this thing had a hefty budget).

Scifi channel dropped the ball by not picking this one up, hell everyone did. :matrix:

yes it is indeed! You should check out some music from Philip Glass though. Very similar. very cool.

BTW, I see there is a TV movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0159798/ any link for that as well?

In the year 2070, police detective David Hume and his partner Ian Farve attempt to track down a group of murderous androids with ties to a corrupt corporation, named Recall, which are based on the planet Mars in this pilot for the sci-fi TV series.

Sounds like the first two episodes to be honest.

I watched all of them, and series is pretty decent all the way through to the end which is kinda crappy and a big let down.

Lots of conspiracies and a lot of "you don't know who to trust" storylines.

That is fantastic, I love that show!
I have a question though, are english or other-language subtitles available on the DVD ? and if yes, would you be kind enough to rip them so we could be able to translate them in various languages. I'm specially interested in the French subtitles but english ones would be a good start :)
Anyway, thank you very much esper!

The rips made from japan-dvds and there are no subtitles for this series.

I'm sorry to hear that, but thank you for your quick reply and for your help in distributing the rips.

Thanks, jonjon.

I know and worked for quite a while with the guy who executive produced this show and wrote many episodes. Terrible writer.
