Could you post thread links? I did a search & nothing. Then tried to wade through the DVD Rip list. I just gave up.

Part 1:
ed2k: Cube.1997.Dvdrip.Xvid-Schizo.avi  [696.94 Mb] [Stats]

Part 2:
ed2k: cube.2.hypercube.2002.dvdrip.divx-xcz.avi  [701.01 Mb] [Stats]

OR

ed2k: cube.2-hypercube.2002.dvdr.xvid.ac3.cd1-kt.avi  [700.83 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: cube.2-hypercube.2002.dvdr.xvid.ac3.cd2-kt.avi  [700.11 Mb] [Stats]

All of them DVD rips.

A word of comment: I thought the first one was very much overrated (would be a very shallow metaphor, if it had *any* message at all), until I saw Hypercube. God, what a piece of crap! And what a... what a... yes, hard to admit that, but what a disappointment after Cube! It was then I realised that part 1 actually wasn't that bad. It was because of all the movie critics making such a fuss about it, if you don't try to find any profound meanings in it it's just a nice watching. Hypercube isn't even that. It's just bad in every respect. Poor acting, poor plot, unimaginative ending, poor atmosphere, and - amazing - miserably poor special effects, much worse than in Cube (where they were really quite impressive).

I really enjoyed Cube 1. The basic idea of making as much as possible out of just one single room was a great undertaking, but very successful. It started off with one of the greatest beginnings I've ever seen in a movie and continued with some amusing character development that I loved. The ending was also very satisfactory to me.
The sequel was utter shite. should never have been made. And that ironcally has one of the worst endings I've ever seen. blah.

gotta agree with Polityk & John_Doe on this as i really enjoyed Cube - esp as i downed it without knowing anything about it - but Hypercube left me with the feeling of WHY! why did they bother? and more importantly why did i actually sit thru the whole movie? :?
