You want me to fire up my gamecube and take some screenshots? Or do you want to be executed by having the T-strain injected directly into your left bollock?

It varies depending on which strain it is, but the first one is the better imo.

ps. I was thinking of watching the Brood tonight actually... haven't seen it in a long time. I watched crash a while back... still need D2 of dead ringers, I'd have watched that today probably but still need a chunk or two.

Well, Big Fish was kinda weird/odd. Mostly just tall tales. Bubba Ho-Tep was kind of interesting. I was more wanting to see an Elvis that wasn't dead. Overall, I don't think I'd bother watching either movie again. Neither one was above average IMHO.

Resident Evil (No tyrants or anything cool.)

Actually/technically, a Tyrant is in the movie. The biggest & baddest one in fact. Just so happens you only see the very beginning of Matt Addison mutate into Nemesis about 1h 29mins into the movie.

Re Licker/Hunter: I don't remember seeing a Licker mutate into a Hunter in the movie.

Re RE action figures: I have the RE2 Claire/Zombie Cop combo. I won it from an online 'Guess this video game sound' contest.

They don't become a tyrant until they die ;) But the best tyrant is from the first. Stylistically it looks much better than the others I always thought

Re Licker/Hunter: I don't remember seeing a Licker mutate into a Hunter in the movie.

That's what confused me. I was positive it was a hunter, but max said there wasn't and it was a licker... we were both right and wrong. It's a licker for a minute or two of on screen time, then it kills the nonce that let the virus out and alice says "its mutating, becoming a faster and stronger hunter"... and then it mutates into a hunter (big front and back claws :) ). It's only a licker for a little while, when it attacks the train its a hunter.

Kinda sucks on the monster front. The zombies didn't get enough screen time, there was no tyrant and the licker/hunter was a bit crappy imo.

Would have been much better in the hands of George Romero, he had the right idea... zombie, zombies everywhere :)

our man in the zombie world aka george cant go wrong when u place zombies in his hands

yeah i rewatched resident evil again this mornign and it is a licker to begin with then mutates into a hunter :) , although does a nemesis creature actually class as a tyrant?

@merc - good skills on winning hehe :)

incidently what is it about milla jovovovovovovovich films that require her first scenes to always need her to be in her birthday suit?? (that means naked)

I think in the official mythology it is a strain of the tyrant... but to me, none of those trenchcoat wearing peckers, lickers, hunters, etc. live up to the good old Zombie, Doberman or the original Tyrant (that's a tyrant to me, everything else is a mongrel halfbreed  ).

BTW, last night I watched no movies but S3 and some of S4 of Red Dwarf with the audio commentries :) Good stuff :)

i do mean kingdom hospital, ive never seen the original but i quite like the new version, altho i expect the fact that a great actor of the 80s (andrew mccarthy) is in it probably raises it a bit, and that guy with the dog behind the desk with the huge glasses is pretty funny, and ed belgey jr just cracks me up coz hes such a tool, i thought only 8 episodes were shown, hmm will have to find ep 9

ive seen those lighters before on ebay, along with rpd, stars & umbrella wallets, watches, dog tags and other cool stuff, but yeah a stars and rpd shirt would be pretty cool, or even better the full uniform, leon (re") haircut not an option tho lol

if u haven't seen the original kingdom, then i'd suggest a trip to the mainpage (u can pickup that shit episode of kingdom Raped edition too) and grab it.

It's just so much better, especially in the writing and direction department.

Nemesis Description:

The main guy and subtitle namesake of Resident Evil 3 (although not Biohazard 3-heh). While he might look tough, he's usually easy to avoid, or take down if you take note of how he's attacking. During the game he has three forms. The original is shown to the left, along with two different looks (the 2nd isn't that much of a change from the first as it is more of a lack of his costume that is the main change.)

With S.T.A.R.S. members fast becoming a threat to Umbrella's plans, they deploy their latest variation of the Tyrant, the Nemesis to dispose of them. Not much is known about the origin of Nemesis. He is much smarter than the average Tyrant, posessing the knowledge to speak the word "Stars" and to wield a rocket launcher.

While the Nemesis concept was to give you constant paranoia over when he would show once you'd seen him, it's more often than not that people talk more of him being a pain more than a scare that makes Nemesis not seem as he was supposed to be. Still now it is more often you'll hear people talk about Mr. X (who has style in his attacks) and the CV Tyrant-078 (who just looked tough without having to do much more than walking out of his tube) than of Nemesis in this light.

Perhaps it's just that Nemesis was over exposed before the game was released. Heck rumors of who Nemesis was (people picked Wesker, Barry, even Rebecca) were around long before the game and long after too. Then again Nemesis really isn't anyone as far as we know now. People surely saw a lot of Nemesis and I assume that took a lot of wind out his impact in the game. Hmm, perhaps then if you haven't played the game yet, you shouldn't be reading this. :)
