rainbow six is certainly no recommendation for them then, and i cant say i was impressed with deus ex either, overhyped crap

Dues Ex was pretty good I thought. Not played the second. Rainbow Six was done by Red Storm Entertainment, Tom Clancy's own development company.

They are all shit apart from Rogue Spear which pisses all over everything
I've got Rainbox 6 and Rogue Spear, but I had major issues with the AI. Instead of your troops clearing a room inteligently, they would run in a straight line from the door they came in, to the door they go out. That means if there is a terrorist in the corner then everybody dies.
I suppose thats not a problem when your team mates are real people, but I've not tried it on a network. Perhaps this summer

i never liked rogue spear at all, but ive also never played it over a network with real folk, although as a rule most tom clancy stuff is wank

lol its ace over a network. Give your self a team of four guys, and then run round on a terrorist hunt... its hilarious. Send the fodder aka. AI in using them as sheilds and then frag the buggery out of everything before getting gunned down in crossfire.

Not now it seems. Almost everyone at Ion Storm just got fired. They're changing the name and switching to PS2 games only. Warren Specter just left as well.
