UK Bandwidth Increases

NTL and Telewest anounced about 6 weeks ago that they would increase their bandwidths by 50% for free. Does anyone have any idea when it's supposed to happen, I'm dying to get mine upto 1.5mb, i have no patience whatsoever.

I've know about this since late April and thought it would be done in June but from what i can gather from HHAH is that there's no definate date, the only thing i picked up on was that NTL may increase it a month after they put the price up.
The thing that does piss me off is that I can only upload at 10kb, soon as i go above that the upload graph looks like a seismograph in an earthquake. Anyone know what i can do to increase the upload to 20 or so?

20k - go to BT hehe, so i hear anyway
im with NT"HELL" and i think theyre supposed to be upping the speed this summer with no price increase, after all tehy cant afford losing anymore customer after that hilarious 1gig per day download limit stunt they pulled which saw customers leaving faster then the time pee wee herman turned up at cannes looking very excited to be seeing movies

I have today been on the phone and NTL say the increase will be mid-late Summer and it will be increased automatically.

Here in the US, my Charter account jumped from 1.5 MB DL to 3 MB. Unfortunately, my UL is still crap.
