NTL Is Run By Monkeys

Does anyone else here have NTL as theyre ISP and are on NTL Broadband? especially the 600k option? if so for the last couple of days has msn been kicking u off all the time between 10-30minutes?, because for me and everyone else i know on ntl broadband it has and were sick to fuck of it, ntl think theyre great but in reality theyre technicians are a bunch o monkeys, i wouldve rung the tech support line to inform them about this incase they dont know but i dont fancy waiting in a queue to talk to some bloke in india who cant understand a word of english

anyway anyone else having this problem? and anyone know if ntl are aware and are taking steps to correct it?

The only problem i have had with NTL is with their modem, i used to have one the vertical modems and that was great for sharing, since i have got the new crap looking flat grey one, all I can upload is 10kb/s whereas the old modem would do 20 and i could still browse. If i go above 10 the upload graph looks like theres an earthquake happening and the download speed is reduced to about 25% of what it was. It pisses me off I can't upload more.

well you just have to picture how incompetant normally computer technicians are. Now imagine the same people trying to run a business, and not just that a major one with lots of customers and a vast network of computers.

I'm suprised every isp isn't as incompetant as NTL

Ntl are total knobs, i have the 600k broadband and belive me i'm thinking of looking elsewhere for a new isp.They have'nt even upgraded the disk they give you to use the new modems and connections,After countless hours in their customer friendly call centre , i finally got hold of some idiot who knew next to nothing about the errors i had while trying to install their disk.In the end i had to bypass disk and set up a eithernet connection by myself,belive me the quicker i get shot of ntl the better.

I was going to say, there is absolutely no need whatsoever to use the disk from NTL.

LOL u use the gearbox setup haha well u deserve what you get then only joking, i know its not nice at all when things go wrong with internet, and ill 110% agree the call centre is a big bag of wank, i remember ringing it once then getting told it was a different department i needed, only for them to say it was the department i originally called, only for them to say it wasnt the department they forwarded me too it was actually another department only for them to say it was the original department so i rang the original department again and gave them a right old bollocking until they told me what i needed to know which amusingly only took them about 5 minutes then to tell me, why they couldnt to begin with is beyond me, i guess they needed time to find the indian-english dictionary, i wonder if they will use that call as training hehe
