Can't seem to find a post about this one, if there is one

In response to overwhelming demand, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release attractively priced individual two-disc releases of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Each release includes the 2004 digitally remastered version of the movie and, as bonus material, the theatrical edition of the film. That means you'll be able to enjoy Star Wars as it first appeared in 1977, Empire in 1980, and Jedi in 1983.

Yeah I know someone is taking a handfull of precious from our wallets but so what.
We can finally see Han Solo shooting first again, again :P

word on fh is that it's a laser disc transfer with 2ch audio. not that I understand why since the fully reconditioned and effectively (supposedly) saved the original reels back in the 1995 reissue.
Life ducks, and you sigh.

they'll have had to clean it up again for the 1997 editions too, its not like they would have binned the restored reels before adding some shit cgi to it.
