The Sci-Fi Channel on Saturday, July 17 at 9:00pm. Jeffrey Obrow's alien-on-Earth movie, stars Michael DiLallo, Alison Eastwood, Nana Visitor, Corbin Bernsen and Bruce Boxleitner.

Synopsis:
It seems like any normal small town. But it isn't. Daniel, (Michael DiLallo) is about to leave his home, Point Ridge, and move away to college to begin a new life. As his eighteenth birthday approaches he begins to notice that something feels different. He tells his friends, Devon (Lacey Beeman) and Harlan (Michael Maples) how people on the street, even strangers, seem to look at him in a bizarre way. Do they know something about him? Daniel and his friends begin to see that people in town have somehow changed...classmates at school are missing...parents are whispering behind closed doors. Suddenly, the peaceful nights in Point Ridge are shattered by savage killings and reports of hideous THINGS tearing through the forest. Daniel meets Finley (Alison Eastwood) a mysterious young woman traveling only in the dark of night, searching. She is searching for answers to the mysterious disappearance of her father. Something horrifying took him from her when she was a little girl. Now, with the help of Daniel she is finally tracking the CREATURE down in Point Ridge. Daniel's parents, Hugh (Bruce Boxleitner) and Colette (Nana Visitor), are hiding something as well. The last thing they want is their son to know that his mother is a royal member of a Colony; an Alien Colony that is watching and waiting for what she and she alone can give them. At the same time the determined Finley shows Daniel proof of the unearthly terror which exists in their town. They cannot escape what is to happen. As Daniel's eighteenth birthday approaches, the Colony waits for its leader to take his place among them. When the clock strikes midnight Daniel learns the astonishing truth... it had been written long ago and he cannot escape his destiny... He...is the leader they are waiting for.

Sci-fi seems to have a thing for these kind of shows.

Sounds a bit like a violent, low budget signs meets Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Definitely familiar stuff.

My only criticisms are, unless there's a spark of originality it may feel a bit repetative, if the budget is too low it won't be able to pull it off, and that guy in the picture does not look like a cop
