90% of nominees weren't sci fi even by a long shot. Its funny that no sci fi show actually won a sci-fi award.

someone certainly has a jones for angel & buffy alright. throw in the LotR success, and I wonder if MagicUK didn't find a way to stuff the ballot. :?

how does joss whedon win a sci-fi achievment award over cameron, speilberg, and jackson? (in that order) Liv Tyler didn't do jack in LotR. which leaves nothing but her looks. granted, she looks better with elf ears, but I'd rather stare at Kate or Keira (who each did a lot more for their respective films)

Alias is the only glaring show I see that isn't sci-fi. I mean, the other questionables are at least sci-fi/fantasy. but take away Dead Like Me and Big Fish, and I couldn't quibble with even just the sci-fi part of it.

btw, its Science fiction and fantasy awards, not just sci-fi. And I agree with the results on the output of the most current releases of all, the results are respectable if not totally accurate

Although I'd definitely have gone for:
La Bomba
Farscape

for best episode

and anyone but Elijah Wood who imo was really shit in LOTR

erm...unless Fantasy is suddenly 1:1 for Fiction, I still don't see how Alias ends up on the ballot, but then I did only watch the first season. maybe they blew up her boobies in later seasons?

no, neither do i, I guess its all the sci-fi gadgets and the international terrorist organisations, etc. that gets it coupled with it. To be honest, it does feature in SFX and other scifi magazines a fair bit...

scifi or not, i still think alias is crap
