About The Movie

In a post-apocalyptic underground society ruled by rival religious cults, Dakota (C. Thomas Howell) is working as an assassin, or "Shepherd" for The Church of Miles (Roddy Piper). He has been given an assignment to take out a female Shepherd (Heidi von Palleske) from a rival cult, but balks at completing the task when he sees that his target has a young child. The two assassins and the child all find themselves being hunted down by both cults, and so decided to stick together as they run for their lives. Along the way, they encounter several other strange religious compounds, as well as random thugs living on the outskirts of society.
Guest Appearence by David Carradine (Kill Bill 1&2's "Bill") as The Ventriloquist.

heres imdb for them

Armageddon aka Deathline - Starring Rutger Hauer & Mark Dacascos

Cyborg 3 - Starring Malcolm McDowell & Zach Galligan

Alien Intruder - Starring Billy Dee Williams & Tracy Scoggins

The Shepherd included in a different box set (anyone got these others films?? including the silencers)

my set is region 2 uk version, and those pics are from amazon.co.uk and say theyre both the region 2 uk versions, hmmm very odd

*edit* it appears the box set ive got is only available at Tescos supermarkets across the UK

long story about that (well its not that long but long enough)

i used gknot but i ripped it before i got the new version, and for some reason it wouldnt rip the audio and video in the same go, would only rip audio then start again and rip video, so i had to use vdub to insert the audio afterwards, dont worry though its all in nicely and plays just like any other rip

incidently ive now got the new gknot and it works audio and video at same time now like it should so all my rips since have come out straight away with no extra work 8)

plus this was my first rip in about a year and a half hehe, but i had a good teacher who does very good rips, she told me what settings to use (trust me to choose an interlaced dvd as my first in ages hehe) but all sucessfully deinterlaced blah blah yadda yadda

hmm strange in the interleaving section you usually get something like this come up :wacky:

type OpenDML AVI IMRR 1.00

I/L 1 aud frame (36 ms), p=504 Split: No

but your rip had nothing....intriguing....anyone know why this happens and what difference it makes?

anyway i'm sure i'll love the movie with an IMDB rating like this one got

read the FAQ for gspot output. It contains a template for more information in text output (including interleaving, etc.)
http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=4

Easier that way too.
