A devastating plauge wipes out the world's population.
The lone survivor Dr. Robert Morgan (Vincent Price) manges
to stay alive thanks to a mysterious immunity he picked up
while researching bacteria in Central America. As night falls
, plauge victims leave their graves to form a hellish undead
army thirsting for blood!
I don't actually know if there are any subs or not. I only watched once. It's not exactly a thrilling movie. Very much a part of the 50s, 60s, 70s contagion paranoia (kinda like andromeda strain).
In case you're wondering, this was the first of three film adaptation attempts at the Robert Matheson story I Am Legend. I've developed an interest in it spurred on by the new movie. Then I remembered I owned this DVD (it was like $2!), so I thought others might also be curious.
FYI: the image is only 2.9x gb. It's an old movie, so it doesn't need much, but it's also from a shoddy label ("genius entertainment"?), so iunno anything about the actual transfer. looks fine to me on the projector. but that's the deal. the image is a scan of the box cover. I'll see about screens later. have to pull them from a different comp.
*caps made from mpc default settings. imageshack seems to have converted the bitmaps into png's.
