oh shite! didn't think to look in the avi section before I ripped it. it's not the same thing that you already posted.

it's my custom rip. same one that's on FH.

re: maxpane2409

it's all the files that go into the video_ts dir. before unraring, create two dirs: VIDEO_TS, AUDIO_TS. then place all the rar'd files in the VIDEO_TS dir., and use IMG TOOL Classic_0.91.2.zip to create an image of the two dirs. that's the best way cuz you can mount the image in alcohol 120% (or your favorite emulation software - daemon tools is popular) and make sure it plays properly before you burn any coasters. fyi: .img and .iso images are identical. different file extensions you can use interchangably. Burn image to disc with DVD Decryptor (or fav. image burning software).

or you can skip the image creation process and use your favorite burning program's dvd template. I know Nero does it for you. all you have to do is drag the .vob, .bup, and .ifo files into the VIDEO_TS dir that the program automatically creates.

4x DVD-Rs here as as low a $1 each w/ slim jewel case. I got mine, believe it or not, at CompUSA. I always call it Com PUSA. But really, I've had very very few bad burns with those, of wich ALL were program/burning related, not media.

What I'd like to see are some DOUBLE-SIDED DVD-Rs.

Believe it or not, highest casulties in DVDRs that me & my buddy have had are 2x TDKs. Oh yeah, even though the CompUSA one are rather generic, they do work @4x & have been compatable on ALL set tops we've tried. What program are you using to burn & are you using -R or +R media? I know that RWs have problems playing in older set tops, like mine.

burned most of my coasters with 1x -r media on custom dvds (DVD Workshop, DVD Movie Factory, Studio 9, Media Studio, Premiere), but even DVD2One and DVDshrink jobs with Nero had read errors at predictable locations (I must have 10 shrek coasters  ). I bought some imations on sale (4x -r), and they worked 100% of the time in my standalones and my friends' (which was the real problem - distributing the custom dvd). anyway, the next discs I buy will be at least 8x, hopefully dual/double-layer.

er...so how 'bout 'dem Yankees? see, there's a upside and a downside to every shwartz. noodles!

We've had NO success with Premiere burning DVDs. Haven't tried burning w/ Shrink. I like to stick with what I know works, & Nero is a dream as of the 6.3? update. They fixed the UDF compatability issue.
