Postby paul-scream22 on Sat Oct 23, 2004 10:09 am

Right found this on <a href="http://forums.shareconnector.com/viewtopic.php?t=63496" target=blank>Shareconnector</a> and thought deserved to be here

Looks quite interesting, hope it satisfies the trekie fans here (if there are any  )

[quote="stigodump"]What we have here is the worst Star Trek film re-edited by Jack Marshall into the style of the original show to make something pretty good.

ed2k: InThyImage_VCD.mpg  [629.36 Mb] [Stats]

ed2k: Edit_Info.doc  [53.0 Kb] [Stats]

ed2k: Star.Trek.5.re-edited%20version.nfo  [18.1 Kb] [Stats]

Its a vcd compliant mpg so you can just start a new vcd project in your burner software, add this mpg and burn away.

Here's some screen caps:

IMHO it impoves the film in leaps and bounds.

Here's the nfo text for a lot more info into how this was created(it's quite long but worth reading):

Re-imagining Star Trek – The remix of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier

What is contained herein was the original opening scroll for the re-edited Trek film. That part no longer exists and is transcribed here. It’s followed by questions and answers posed by Film Threat’s own, Chris Gore (www.filmthreat.com).
