Thanks elanze this is imo by far the best version of 1984, I tape this off the telly when it was shown as part of Orwell night along with the two documentries about the writer. Unfortunately it's on vhs tape somewhere or I'd have posted them in a heart beat.

quality on this copy looks a bit shitty......i have recently grabbed a torrent of another rip of this from a private tracker that has these stats if anyone wants it?

i guess my upstream kicked in pretty well :D 2.65gig uploaded so far and 5 other takers that i have seen so far...looks like it may have hit a Spanish ed2k site since most of the takers are Spanish :D
