Star Wars AFR rips

Postby Vae Victis on Sun Sep 03, 2006 5:51 pm

I'm ripping all 6 episodes for personal use in afr.
Just finished doing episode 1.

Was wondering if someone else wanted these as well?

I can speak only personally, and that's your a nut case if you don't own the original trilogy on dvd yet  Most people i know have it already but there's always a few :)

As for the new ones, nope from me. Got no need for them, i have the first two on dvd and to be honest, i can't be bothered buying the third.

Sorry for double-posting this much poop

Anyway, Vae, when I think about it, Im game for the unaltered old movies, since I won't be able to get hold of the DVD's and I'd love to see them as they once were without the modern effects crap :D

Updated the startpost with new info on eps 1,2,3.

Going to rip eps 4,5,6 today.
I'll post them (release) when I'm finished ripping.

Since there isn't much interest in eps 1,2,3 rips I'll just keep them on my harddisk for now.
But you can still request them if you want them afterall.

Well the non-interest from me is that I already have them on DVD :)

Good job on the movies though

I was thinking about downloading all six episodes and was wondering why there was no AFR releases for star wars.... until now........ I must be the only one without these on DVD (although I've been wanting a boxset of ages!!!)

those screenies look amazing, are these rips available?

EDIT: I was looking for my copys of 4-6 with commentaries I downloaded a year or 2 ago.... can't find them now, don't even remember if it was OT or RE, or even who ripped them....... :o

Is there a way to tell which versions are the 1977, 1997 or 2004 releases of the movies? Does any one know if any of the rip available are dual audio?

I wish I could find the rips I had so I could compare....
