Postby crusher310 on Thu Aug 02, 2007 12:50 am

I'm actually excited for the Bloodrayne II dvd to come out! I really liked the first one. My co-worker at umgd told me its out on September 19. Any other fans out there? :)

Uwe Boll..... urgghhh, i'd prefer ass cancer. I've only made it through one of his movies, House of the Dead, and in my defence that's because there was a movie I'd paid for on after it (horror movie night during a film festival).

Sorry, no, I find Uwe Boll a complete insult to everything I love about cinema and single handedly strikes a blow against any claims I can make to film being a socially, politically and artistically important medium.

Bloodrayne one was utter shite.... imo, obviously :)

i can totally understand not liking this movie--the thing about it is that you can't take it seriously--it's a b-movie/ed wood type of thing so you can't expect an academy award winning movie.

anyone whose interested in the movie might want to consider signing up for the street team--i know it sounds ridiculous but it's a good way to get info and stuff about the movie. check it out at: ufanz.com/teams/uweboll

Ed Wood is not like Uwe Boll, Ed Wood didn't make chav-culture like movies and just had no taste. I can kind of enjoy bad films for the wrong reasons, but Uwe Boll is just a waste of space and time. I don't find his movies good for the fact his movies are bad... they are just boring.

Transformers was crappy, but its way more watchable than a Uwe Boll film. You can easily make it through transformers and be entertained whilst doing it, even if the movie is stupid in your opinion. Boll's movies are just boring though ;)

iunno. Kristanna Loken's boobies looked nice. it was utter shite. and I've watched STV vampire movies that are more coherent (and better). actually, it reminded me a lot of last legion.

yes, transformers is better. I was thinking more along the lines of the crooked logic both movies require to say that they're good. I'm not sure I've seen one positive review of transformers (from fools who liked it; no critic is that daft) that doesn't apologize for the movie first "sure, it's stupid but it's supposed to be" or "it's one of those movies you turn your mind off to enjoy" or the plethora of like phrases: "sure, bloodrayne is a bad movie. but it's supposed to be." btw: I assure you that uwe boll doesn't actually WANT to make bad movies. neither does michael bay.

folks, army of darkness, evil dead 2, princess bride, they live, etc. are conscious of their stupidity, and they play with it. movies like bloodrayne and last legion don't even know what they are...nevermind playing with that image.

and yet that film doesn't really fit in with the others quite the same. ;)

You little sad fluffy freak, its like the third thread in as many days I've seen you copy and paste that list. Don't tait the other movies with the lesser princess bride, its not going to get better by attachment!

Once again, things don't get better by putting them next to great things, they infact look worse.

As was demonstrated by your list... it makes Princess Bride look crappy :googley:
