Another microsoft bought PR campaign? Halo 3 doesn't deserve this.

If they have to buy and market a game, why couldn't they have chosen a decent one? This halo crap pisses me off loads, not because I don't realise m$ was overcompensating for a lack of any decent games at the launch of the original xbox, but because halo represent the biggest overblown realisation of advertising and aggressive marketing over actual developer talent, appealing content and entertainment value.

It's a crying shame really, there's so many great games that don't get the time of day and this drek gets lifted up on a pedestal.

I might continue to do just that...

i think this is an insult to gaming culture wasting such time on a game that has done NOTHING to deserve it beyond being the artificial showpiece for a lacking game lineup several years ago.

I can name a birrage of games that deserve (through sheer originality, innovation, directorial talent and genre pushing design) a 20min documentary but won't get a peep ever be spoken about them. I would love to see some real content produced, not a bit of marketing tat. A crying shame it really is.

This marketing bullshit pisses me off royally, have you read some of the shit in places like forbes magazine about this drek? Pathetic, its all reads like a m$ press releases because frankly, they are m$ press releases.

Really hate loving games so much, and then getting slapped around by pr/marketing putting shit like this onto a pedestal. it just seems so lame.

Thank you for the opportunity jynks!

More along the lines of Panzer General(turn based), Warcraft(realtime) and of course the mighty.... Chess
Civ was always a little boring for me.
