I downloaded the files but the images are "pixelized" (i tried with WMP, BS Player). Does it need a particular codec to be played ?

i would imagine the lastest Xvid codec would do it and not forgetting AC3

nope, I would recommend looking at this thread though instead:

FFDShow, AC3filter, DTS and a competant player is all that's needed. If you've got a codec pack installed, uninstall it asap.

As for players, I find MPC the best, zoomplayer is good too, VLC is another good one that will play anything (if a bit stubborn on the UI front)

If you do any encoding, you'll need Xvid and Gknot is an important program imo.
