Another rarity for Star Wars fans. These transfers from Super 8mm film are unique shortened edits (about 15 mins per reel, 2 reels per movie). Thanks to Puggo for the telecine (more info HERE and HERE).

They were a nightmare to rip, because of the grain and flicker. I could have filtered the image to make it more compressible, but that would have taken away the authentic appeal of these videos. So instead I decided to use an extremely high bitrate. (Standalone players may choke or stutter on these.)

excellent, i'll take a look and see what butchery has taken place here. 34m is a hell of a shortening for empire, i classed the cinematic version as a really top class example of editing, particularly the asteroid sequences.
