Why do you think it isn't? The language is ENGLISH - that's more than enough! Haven't you ever downloaded a VHS rip with Japanese subs for example? I have plenty of those, and I never complained. So, please, do rip the movie :D

Censored doesn't sound too good. :( Are you sure it's cut?

About the best way to rip a VHS you have to ask someone else. I know nothing about it. I've never tried and most probably I never will (I even don't have a VHS player).

I have Rush 2 in French (for the box cover mainly) but am having loads of trouble tracking down both in English. You can get A Man Called Rage (AKA Rush 1) on eBay USA but its about $20 dollars plus postage. I will get it eventually....

Edit - Rage/Rush whatever - the name varies between countries.

Just a little update on the PA site:

I'm updating the news page most-days so please stop by and have a look http://www.post-apocalypse.co.uk/news.html

I'm looking for people to join the message board too. My stats show quite a few people stopping by but not many people commenting on things. A vote on the ultimate Mad Max rip off movie has just started.

A new review should be up in a couple of days.

Thanks, Vae. :)

Possible future additions: *MOVED TO THE FIRST PAGE*

I'll also remove Atomic Cyborg from the list in the next update. The movie's great, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with PA.

Hi Malignus -

I'm looking out for Delicatessen ( although if I did find a copy it would be on the bottom of a big pile of films to watch)

I was looking for Escape from Safehaven a few days ago. Not sure what to make of it yet.

Children of men is apocalyptic (as appose to post-apocalyptic) but a superb movie (A+++)

Planet of the Apes is too far in the future maybe (i'm gonna try and avoid it for my list).

Spacehunter, as far as I can remember has all the atributes of a good PA, but set on another planet with some different technology. I might add it too.

I didn't like Casshern - too comic booky (not that I have anything agains comic books).

Lots of roller blade films added! Don't have time today, but gonna have a look into them tomorrow. Do you know Prayer of the Rollerboys? I bought the VHS a few years back as it looked/sounded post-apocalyptic. Never got round to watching it but might just have to add it to my list.

I've crossed "Children of Men" off the list. Thanks.

I haven't watched "Prayer of the Rollerboys" (yet), but from what I've read about it, it's more like "A Clockwork Orange" than PA. I can be wrong though. I have to watch the movie some day.

Some interesting titles I found (but not seen):
Freedom Deep
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367753/
Ever Since the World Ended
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0283337/
Mechanical Violator Hakaider
http://imdb.com/title/tt0161644/
Resistance
http://imdb.com/title/tt0105237/
Woops!
http://imdb.com/title/tt0103583/
Panic in Year Zero!
http://imdb.com/title/tt0056331/

I think Beowulf, Casshern and Dark Angel are not fit in the list. Keep up the good work! It's gonna be a bloody good list! :beerchug:
