I'll be in scotland then :(

Written by established author Alasdair Duncan and co-writer, Terry Hodge, Daemon brings a whole new dimension to comic writing. Crawford Coutts captures this unique story with his conceptual artistic eye, using a combination of digital media and new techinques.

With writers and artists involved from far and wide, Insomnia Publications will be bringing comic readers into the 21st Century through a varienty of stories and illustration. Please browse around the site and feel free to write to us with your comments.

Andrea Robinson, a brilliant neurosurgeon, Guy Shearman, ex fast jet pilot, and Philip Bletchley, driven scientist, all think they know the answers. Then Daemon changes everything.

And if that weren't enough; What if, because of Daemon, the dead suddenly have choices too, choices that can wreak havoc with the living? Choices they never had until they became the victims of violent crime.

Then you are told the key to stopping all this madness is a quadriplegic who thinks only of himself and who is the one person in the world you never want to see again. Could you do it?

is now a good time to point out that little things on maps are actually usually quite a bit bigger in "real life", just like Scotland is a damn sight colder and wetter than it looks on the weather forecast

Of course. It's part of the staple diet here! There's even a dish with all three ingredients present: Haggis stuffed with shortbread in an Irn-Bru sauce! Usually the Haggis is drowned in Irn Bru rather than strangled when captured to soak up more of that girder flavour... mmmm tasty!

The definition of a "Haggis": A Haggis is a strange furry animal, not that dissimilar to a tribble. They live in the forests of the highlands and a fierce wee besties. They reproduce like there's no tomorrow - randy bastards!

Not quite sheeps brains but close... a sheeps stomach is filled with the tasty bits and then boiled up. That's about as much as I know... usually if i buy a haggis it has "throttled in Tesco" written on the label!

ah yes that explains all those small tribblelike cuddly (presumably?) haggis you always see in tourist info places in scotland, right next to the stuffed nessies and white & black scottie dogs, and then next to those you always see the boxs filled with McEwans toffee, and then those staples of the english and scotish heritage shop food section, the scottish fudge, usually plain, mint, orange or plain flavour

Have you tried Irn Bru and Black Vodka? It goes a very putrid green colour and tastes of, well... putridy greenness... weird that, huh!
