How did you take those screenshots? The colours seem terribly bleached for a DVD rip...

Well. I discovered, that my Nero Media Player has an integrated screenshot-function, that is very easy to handle. You just play the movie and press "C" now and then. Then I used Microsoft Picture It to resize the images and change the format to JPEG.

Maybe it is not the best way to get high quality screenshots ? But then I did the same with the Zoomquilt-pictures, and they look pretty good. Maybe it really is the quality of the rip ? I was happy with it though.

There is another version:

no way, that explains the quality of the images too, your taking a picture of your overlay with the brightness up.

You should follow this:
viewforum.php?f=6
for best quality screenshots.

Don't resize either. Keep them exactly as they should be, since its not representative of the avi if they are altered (although compressing of course has to be done, ~10 give good quality). That is unless your nero player messes up the AR, but i wouldn't recommend using that for screenshots.

Wrong link, spud. But I found the HHAH-screenshot-guide anyway. Followed the instructions, and here are the results (using VirtualDubMod & Paint Pro):

Well, I did no compression, since I have no idea, how ... :wacky:

Looks better, doesn't it? :) Oh, and don't resize the screenshots, the best way to view them is in the original resolution.
